We provide three merge scores in Demscore, which provide users with the absolute and relative numbers of non-missing observations for a variable for its original as well as the chosen end Output Unit. Learn more here.

A commonly used identifier across datasets in Demscore modules are countries, but country definitions and names often vary, and should be taken into consideration. Learn more here.

Demscore aims to to improve transparency on which observations are lost during a translation on the level of output units. On this page we offer the lost identifier combinations for merges between Country-Year output units.
